Glastonbury Festival Taxi Service

Hopefully you've secured your Glastonbury Festival tickets, it's now time to work out how you're getting there and more importantly how you're getting home again. Don't expect the exodus to be orderly, with well over 200 thousand festival goers it can be a real struggle to book taxis and private hires at the last minute. Book a taxi as early as you can, the longer you leave it the less options you'll have.

A common question is; why don't companies put more taxis on for the festival? The simple and honest answer is because on the Tuesday after the festival what do we do with those taxis? This is a rural area there's just not enough work throughout the rest of the year to support more taxis so we manage with what little we have the best we can and this is why it's so important to book early.

Glastonbury festival are good enough to allocate an area for taxi and private hires just off the A37 Steanbow. The festival taxi rank is generally in field 34 if you have the Glastonbury app or on the festival map it's next to bronze gate usually top left. This is the closest place we can pickup and drop off we do not have access to anywhere else on the site. Changes will be advised when booking.

How it works

Why are we a popular choice and why do we see the same customers year on year until they grow out of the festival draw? Simple answer is experience, so typically:

1. Use the form on our contact us page
2. We get back to you quickly and we're happy to help even if it's only advice.
3. If we can help you with your transport you'll receive confirmation by reply email once booked.
4. You'll receive the most up to date information we have showing the car you'll be looking out for via text and a copy of the current map. This is partly to test your number as this is the number we will call you on on the day. Please make sure your phone is on and charged.
5. On the day you'll be contacted as the vehicle enters the site so your on the phone up to the point you get in the car. This is because the stewards and security may ask for proof of booking it also helps us to find you.
6. Now you can drop off to sleep because we know where you're going and we'll just take you there and wake you up once we get there.
7. We will collect any outstanding payment and issue a receipt if required. Thank you very hope to see you next year.

The parish councils around the site aren't taxi friendly during the festival so most of the villages and lanes around the site are inaccessible by order of the county council so although the camp sites along those routes may welcome taxis we can't actually get there because the check points won't allow us access.

Ziggucamp, Glampville, and the Pop up Hotel all have direct access from the A37 without using side roads where access is restricted, they have their own shuttle buses to and from the festival at regular intervals.
